Dulaney’s sophomore pitcher Tim Gentry went the distance in Wednesday’s 4-0 shutout of Sparrows Point, striking out three batters, walking one and scattering three hits on the way to winning for the third time in four outtings.
The Lions improved to 7-3 with Gentry, who has a 1.33 ERA. The shutout was made possible thanks to a number of outstanding
defensive plays from the infield along with Gentry hitting his spots and mixing
speeds.
Rightfielder Will Hoffman
continued his hot hitting with three hits and the game’s first RBI.
